Every kind. I even once rode and crashed a penny farthing.


How much is membership?
Fifteen pounds


Where do you ride?
We try and get around, Scotland has a wealth of trails and sceanic countryside just close (ish) to the Glasgow area, so that’s our mainstay, but we try and get a good few trips further a feild each year. We’ll also be heading to BUCS which is likely to be in Wales / England this year.


Do you rent bikes?
(We get asked this a lot) Sadly we don’t. There’s not many shops in Glasgow that run rental fleets.


I’d like to try mountain biking, can you guys help?
Why yes, we can. We’re going to run some trips specifically for people looking to get into mountain biking, Keep an eye on our mailinglist/forums etc for details.

Competitively are you guys into?
This year / next summer we’re looking to have club members riding in the SDA, SXC possibly some of the sup6r’s. Our main priority is going to be the British University Cycling Championships


Do I need to be a member of the SRS to join?
Yup! Otherwise you can set foot in any minibuses without without the committee running the risk of having our heads chopped off and displayed in front of the stevie on pikes as a warning to others.


What’s the stevie?
It’s the name of the gym / near where GUSA is located


Whats GUSA?
GUSA is the Glasgow University Sports Association, the oldest student organisation at Glasgow university, GUSA and the Student Recreational Services pretty much ‘run’ sports at Glasgow. We’re affiliated and run under their umbrella. Ella ella ella, eh eh eh.


Whats the deal with your maintenance sessions?
We run basic and advanced courses, you can find out more on our events section.


How do I fix my bike?.
If you have a specific problem you can always ask about it on our forum.

I tried to connect my facebook account, but it’s not working!
Well, we use facebook API to grab your details, from time to time that’s down and it breaks things on our end.  Sadly there’s nothing we can do about that.
