The Club
The Glasgow University Cycling club is one of the most recently established clubs at Glasgow University, we are a multi-discipline club with an equal spread of XC’ers, DH’ers and roadies comprising our membership. We aim to cater for the needs of every different kind of cyclist at Glasgow University – from fair weather commuters looking for a friendly social environment to pick up a few tips to athletes trying to and develop themselves competitively.

"Multi-Discipline"

We can offer you an excellent way to keep fit whilst exploring the Scottish countryside – and beyond – whilst developing your riding skills in a laid back, fun environment. If this sounds like something you might be interested in feel free to say hello our forums or join us at the Old School House on Woodlands road every Wednesday from 7:30pm onwards!

Membership

Your club membership will cost you 15 of your glorious pounds, the fees go towards the expenses of running the club and operating any of our events and we can guarantee that at no times will these funds be used to finance acts or terrorism, internet piracy, real life sea-fareing piracy, binge drinking or any productions staring Ferne Cotton.

You will however (for insurance reasons amongst other things) need to be a member of the SRS to join the club. But considering it’s only 40 pounds a year and that also gets you access to one of the best gyms in Glasgow..it’s pretty darn worth while.
